project overview
VANTA is a conceptual magazine celebrating Black culture through music, performance, and visual storytelling. Named after Vantablack, the project explores depth, presence, and cultural impact through a bold editorial design system. This issue focuses on the Super Bowl halftime performance by Kendrick Lamar and SZA, using dramatic layouts, high-contrast visuals, and modern typography to capture the energy of the moment. A structured grid, full-bleed imagery, and intentional whitespace create rhythm and hierarchy throughout the spreads. VANTA highlights my editorial layout and print design skills, demonstrating strong typography, visual storytelling, and print-ready composition.
